We were lucky enough to get some bourbon barrels from our friends at Breckenridge Distillery in Colorado and couldn’t resist brewing up a stout to age in them. Notes of vanilla, oak, chocolate and coffee permeate this silky brew, which should be enjoyed in small sips from a big glass between 10-12°C.
